do i think it's just fate that someone was unlucky to be born where your hour is worth less than someone else's? idk. but it's surely a design. the entire machinery of capitalism depends on that imbalance and feeds on it.
capital doesn't care about anyone, it only cares about surplus. so, it builds a world where some lives are cheaper than others. everyone's time, their energy, is a resource for a few group of folks.
people aren't underpaid because you're less capable, they will be underpaid because someone must be underpaid for the system to function.
the comfort of one half of the planet is built on the exhaustion of the other.
capitalism will tell ya that you can "work your way up" but even that illusion is co-opted. it turns rebellion into productivity. it wants you to believe you can escape, not because it wants you free, but because your hope keeps obedient.
there's no fairness in markets. there's no invisible hand as how adam smith suggests. the entire global economy is like a pyramid with billions of people stacked on it and there's a small hole so that few folks can see the sunlight and the people beneath are stucked/buried.
i think i wasn't born into circumstances, i was born in a system that profits off keeping me where i'm.
and the only way you can see the sunlight not through climbing but through breaking the walls of it.
but then again, how do you break the wall?
even if you do, what do you do after that? does taking control of yourself magically eliminates the nothingness of life?
again, it isn't just worth it the hassle.
well, probably "natural selection", i guess, hahah!☺️
